Does your teen freeze when faced with an unseen text in their GCSE English exam?

This live workshop is for Year 9, 10 and 11 students who want to feel more confident approaching unseen texts. They’ll learn a clear, practical approach they can use in every AQA GCSE English Language exam.

During this session, I’ll show students what the exam is really testing, why unseen texts often feel so difficult under pressure, and a simple step-by-step approach to analysing them with confidence.

Whether your teen lacks confidence, feels overwhelmed by unseen texts or simply isn’t making the progress you’d hoped for, this masterclass will give them the strategies and confidence to tackle unseen texts more effectively in the exam.

She explained exam tips and techniques very clearly and helped me improve my analytical skills

About me

I'm Zoe Charles, a qualified GCSE English teacher and tutor with over 24 years in education.

I'm a qualified examiner and team leader for exam marking, and I've helped hundreds of students build confidence, develop their skills, and achieve their potential in GCSE English.

Over the years, I've seen the same pattern time and time again: capable students who work hard but still feel overwhelmed by English because they don't fully understand what the exam is asking them to do. That's exactly why I created this free masterclass.

I'll show your teen a clear, practical approach to tackling unseen texts so they leave feeling more confident, more prepared and knowing exactly how to approach the exam.

Zoe has been an excellent GCSE English tutor for our son. She’s patient, encouraging, and explains things clearly, which has really boosted his confidence and progress.
