Hi, I’m Zoe!

I’m Zoe, the founder of Charles Education, an online tuition service specialising in GCSE English Language and Literature. I launched my business in 2021 after more than 20 years of teaching in both UK and international British schools. Over the years, I’ve supported thousands of students to grow in confidence and improve their results.

As a qualified teacher, experienced tutor and examiner, I have a thorough understanding of how students are assessed and what examiners are really looking for. I use this insight to help students develop the skills and strategies they need to succeed.

My teaching is rooted in emotional intelligence. I create a calm, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning from them. When learners feel valued and understood, they are more willing to engage and more likely to make real progress.

Lessons are interactive, focused and tailored to the needs of each student. I provide clear instruction, carefully chosen resources and detailed feedback to help them move forward with confidence. Whether a student is working towards a secure pass or aiming for top grades, I support them every step of the way.

Tuition is offered for a set monthly fee, which includes weekly live sessions, high-quality resources, and regular marking with personalised feedback. This gives families clarity, consistency and excellent value.
